Purple iPod ShuffleJanuary 7, 2009 It took some time, but I finally imported all my 80's rock CDs and my current favorites on my Shuffle. It's so cool that I have about 400 of my all time favorite songs on this little piece of technology, with room to add about 100 more. It certainly brings a smile to my face when I listen - especially with the song shuffle option - I'm listening to 70's Eagles, 80's Def Leppard, 90's Goo Goo Dolls to today's Nickelback with a mix of today's country and pop! I'm about to be 40 and I definitely recommend this to everyone my age. It's very easy to operate and even easier to enjoy.

Works great. But iTunes sucksJanuary 6, 2009 This product is sleek and works perfectly. But I face a problem with iTunes. I have recently formatted my machine and installed iTunes again. When I connected my iPod back it prompted me to sync the files in my new iTunes library. And I had to lose all my songs stored in shuffle. I had to copy the songs back to shuffle again. Its such a pain. I think its the problem with only shuffle, hopefully other products work OK.
Apple ipod shuffle reviewDecember 30, 2008 I had bought these two ipod shuffles for my fiance and my mom. My mom always wanted one for around the house and outside gardening. She love it when she got it for her birthday. My fiance love it when she got it for christmas because she now can have her favorite music with her all the time. They both are not into electronics and like how simple it is to use. However, they both needed help getting their favorite songs on them.

Will convert from any other formats that it reconizes Can download songs from the itunes store as well ($0.99 per song) Itunes gift cards are sold just about anywhere they sell ipods ($15+) (No use of credit/debit cards online)
240 song capacity is a lot for changing out different songs.(Not enough, get the 2GB ipod shuffle)
4 hours to charge but 12 hours of continuous play (just like it is supposed to)
There are protective coverings(the aluminum is the best) out there for this device at Radio Shack for people like my fiance who has the tendency to break things she owns. (Must remove the covering, however, when charging so the ipod shuffle can fit into the docking station)
Overall, great gift or buy for anyone who is not into electronics but loves their music, as long as someone can set it up for them if they dont know how. The best smallest player out there giving the advantage for anyone who can take it anywhere comfortably.
Good as a temporary iPod or for workouts.December 22, 2008 I've bought two of these to temporarily replace larger, more expensive iPods that have been stolen or broken. They're a good replacement if you buy from the iTunes Music Store.
