| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The S-308 is a multifunctional, shooting-gear-carrier. Individually or as a sling strap for one of Kata's cases, the S-308 enables you to carry the camera in front, for quick access, as a shoulder bag, or on your back for optimal weight distribution. The shoulder pad is well cushioned and can be comfortably adjusted. Part of the main compartment features a connecting system to additional cases such as the H-12, C-56/58, Egg-2001/2002, and many more. Keep valuables close to your body in the concealed compartment and accessories like cell phone, PDA, wallet in the designated pockets.

A Little Too Small, But Nice Features May 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The picture made the product seem big, but the actual product is a little small for my purposes.
I doubt you can put a real camera inside this bag as is without using other Kata Camera Bags designed to be attached to this bag. Small cameras are OK, but the material lacks adequate padding.
I can fit my Oakley Ballistic Case (Large) into the Main Compartment, but just barely close the zipper. The material in front of the Main Compartment has pleating which makes the Main Compartment expand, but the shape would conform to the content--altering the "streamlined" look when empty. (Looks like a pregnant bag.)
There is a hard board inside the Main Compartment--designed to secure other Kata bags to this bag. I can put small booklets inside the Main Comparment without crumpling them too much.
There is a "secret" pocket at the back of the bag, but the lining against your body is very thin--it wouldn't feel comfortable with hard bulky objects in there. This pocket is also small.
There is 1 pocket on each arm of the Y--I use one to put my keys, ID and coins, the other one for my cellphone.
The last pocket is open ended, secured by a strap--for a cellphone. I don't use it, as my cellphone (Motorola Razr) occupies 60% of the compartment, and I don't feel comfortable with it jiggling around secured by the strap on top--I feel my phone might fall out when I put the bag down. (Maybe a radio would fit this pocket with the antenna sticking out.)
I like the pockets, the lightness of the bag, and the way it falls on my body--comfortable to wear/carry.
I think making the bag bigger would definitely make it better.
