Amazon.com Product Description Enjoy a whole new level of LP independence with the Crosley CR49 Traveler. Inspired by the original portable turntables of the late 1950s, the belt-drive unit is versatile enough to play all three common speeds--33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm--so you're not restricted to any one part of your vintage record collection. In addition, the table's tan-colored suitcase housing includes a pair of built-in, full-range stereo speakers, in effect turning the Traveler into a LP boombox (though without the battery power). The effortless portability makes this a great turntable for traveling, visiting friends, or simply enjoying albums in the garage, basement, or other secondary rooms. The case is stylish, too, with a vintage appearance that beautifully complements traditional furnishings. The Traveler even comes with an adjustable tone control, adding to its versatility, along with a diamond-stylus needle. So whether your tastes run to classic jazz or modern rock, savor your vinyl in style with the Crosley Traveler.
The Traveler measures 17 by 7 by 11 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

Major Wear and Tear On Your RecordsNovember 13, 2008 This turntable and most if not all the Crosley's turntables are overpriced for what it gives you. First off, the sound quality is not very good and the tone arm does not have a weight control to prevent the stylus from severely damaging your ablums if accidently kicked or knocked. Also without weight control on the tone arm, more pressure is applied on the sound groves and your albums won't last very long. You can definitely get a better deal for a turntable equipted with tone arm weight control so the stylus will ease up your fine albums and still give you excellent sound quality.
A great buy!November 6, 2008 This is an excellent product. I have a large collection of 45 rpm records and this player sounds great when I play them. It is very easy to use and has great stereo sound. It is also easy to pack up and take with you to an oldies party, which I did! I would recommend this turntable to anyone who likes listening to the oldies on the original records.
GREAT PRODUCTSeptember 28, 2008 GREAT PRODUCT, NO COMPLAINTS...WOULD BUY ANOTHER LOOKS JUST LIKE THE ORIGINALS ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE PLUG
Record Player ReviewAugust 6, 2008 This product is a basic record player and simple to operate. It isn't for extremely picky music lovers, just for people who want to hear their old record albums again or listen to their yard-sale finds. The volume doesn't go EXTREMELY high but is plenty loud enough and the sound can be adjusted somewhat using the tone dial. The case is thick and sturdy, but the actual turntable seems a little wobbly (thus the 4 star review, instead of 5). I've had no trouble with it and my family and I are enjoying it very much. I'm happy that I bought it and would do so again.

Really cool portable stereo record player. I'v never been a big stereo system guy and I live in a relatively small apartment, so this is perfect for me. Jazz, blues, and punk rock records sound great on this. Much warmer than digital format. Vinyl baby! luv it.
