 My best nights sleep August 19, 2008
are when I use these plugs. They're very comfotable and effective. I live in a high traffic area and have noisy upstairs neighbors, and these muffle everything just enough so that I sleep peacefully but still easily hear the alarm in the morning.

These are worthless. I don't have particularly small ears but these don't fit. After spending 15 mins trying to fit these in, my ears hurt and I'm pretty ticked off. I wouldn't give it any stars, but that is not an option.

I must have small, lady-like ear canals or something because I have the hardest time getting earplugs, even foam ones similar to these, to fit in and stay in my ears. These really are a little smaller (not like they're going to get lost or anything!), or they at least compress a little smaller when you squish them to insert them, because they fit in my ears and don't fall out. They have a smooth texture, so my ears don't get all itchy and irritated. I wear them every night, so if I didn't reuse them it would get expensive quickly. I can usually get a pair to last 2-3 weeks. I keep my ears pretty clean, so that may have something to do with it- they don't get very gunky or anything.

These are terrific ear plugs. They have a 32 noise reduction rating, which makes them among the more effective ear plugs one can buy. (I've seen as high as 33 in ear plugs, but if you want higher noise reduction, you need to buy the earmuff type of ear protection) As much as I like the earplugs, I cannot figure out what makes them especially for women, except for the pink color. I think they'd work just as well no matter what color they were.
Now I've got it!! The pink color keeps them from being stolen by male "roommates" who claim that _you_ snore! Foolish men, go get your own -- I hear that they have them in blue these days.
Sleep in peace March 24, 2008
I purchased these hoping to be able to sleep in peace, and I am pleased with these ear plugs. Since I have been married for 9 years, my husband's snoring has kept me up most nights, and we have had to sleep in separate beds or I would have to fall asleep before him. With these ear plugs his snoring has not woken me up and I have been sleeping well. Also, I have a young baby and I was concerned I wouldn't here him when he cries out at night, but I have been able to hear his cries at night.
Getting them to fit is tricky, but once you get the hang of it, you know when they are in correctly.
It's a great product and a dream come true for me!
