Product Description Simply plug the standard height InnoPak/2V module into the Springboard slot and immediately you have an extra 2 megabytes of memory, which you can store any Palm OS application or database file using the File Mover Application that comes preloaded on the InnoPak/2V. With File Mover, you can sort, delete, copy and move files on and between the Visor internal memory and the InnoPak/2V memory. The flash memory on the InnoPak/2V is a good place to store your important data and valuable applications. The InnoPak/2V flash memory does not rely on the Visor battery to provide continuous data storage, so the data stored on InnoPak/2V is safe, even if you lose all your data on the Visor internal memory due to running the batteries down all the way or if your batteries accidentally get removed for an extended period.
Amazon.com Product Description The InnoGear 2 MB flash module plugs into your Springboard slot to give you an extra 2 MB of memory, which you can use to store any Palm OS application or database file using the preloaded file mover application. The InnoPak/2V flash memory does not rely on the Visor battery to provide continuous data storage, so the data stored on InnoPak/2V is safe even if you lose all your data on the Visor internal memory due to depleted batteries or accidental battery removal. A few quick taps of your stylus will make the usual beeps and chirps of the Handspring turn into silent, pager-like vibrating alerts. The vibration is strong enough to feel through a leather case or your coat pocket.

Save your money August 23, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Product may be ok Just don't buy from [third party seller] they are thieves. Ordered thi item never received it. These bums sent it by untraceable shipment. I lost my money, and they got a rebate from Amazon for the transaction.

Great Value December 9, 2001 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
When I got mine, I puchased two... one for my friend's birthday, and one for me. We have both had very good expirences with them. The file mover application is very easy to use. It's especially nice, because you can back up your address book, and memo's, to do lists, and all that. You can set the length of the vibration from anywhere to 1 second all the way up to one minute. THe vibrating works nicely. And in both mine, and my friends experiences, it is definately not noisy. Actually, it is one of the least noisy vibrations I've heard. It's quiet enough that I can let it go of in my American Lit. Class, when everyone is reading, and have no one hear it. When it's on a desk, that's a different story, though. It is powerful enough to notice in a coat pocket, or the cargo pocket of your pair of pants.
Overall, I gave this product a five. It did exactly what it is supposed to do. It stores 2 megs worth of applications, and it vibrates. Plus, it does it all without affecting your battery life. For the price, it's definately an addon worth buying.
Great Product/Support July 7, 2000 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
I am extremely happy with the product and support that innogear gave me over the toll free number. The InnoPak/2V is a great device, yes the vibrating alarm is not "Totally Silent" As it is strong, but for it to get my attention while inside a leather case loosely on my belt it is just what I wanted, In a Quiet meeting, I would recommend not putting it on the table. It may be distracting, But in your hand it may draw attention to people closest to you, but as I have sat through countless meetings at a HUGE Corp. A little bzzz would hardly distract people. If you carry your visor in your suit jacket pocket or on a belt clip and dont want to miss a TO DO. This is EXACTLY what you need! FYI- I love using Diddlebug to scratch a to-do and then add an alarm for later. Sean Rohde
Strong vibrating alarm, but NOT silent! June 15, 2000 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
The InnoPak vibrating alarm module does a good job of getting your attention with a quite strong vibrating alarm, but it definitely is NOT silent! It's the noisiest vibrating alarm I've ever heard, and I have had a number of cellphones and pagers over the years. If you need something that will get your attention better than the relatively weak speaker of the Visor, this module is for you, but if you want something that will be a discrete alarm during meetings or at the theatre, I don't recommend it. By the way, the 2MB storage works just fine -- exactly like the 8MB flash module with the same File Mover application.
