Amazon.com Product Description The stylish and ultracompact Evoca 70SE features a 35-70mm Schneider-Kreuznach power zoom lens and active infrared autofocusing. Photograph with confidence in almost any situation with its advanced shooting modes, such as portrait zoom for people shots, continuous shooting for action, interval shooting, landscape mode for horizon shots, switchable panorama, macro for super close-ups, snap mode, and bulb shooting. The importance of subject lighting has not been overlooked with the intelligent flash, which offers fill-in when shadows are cast on the subject, flash off for natural lighted shots, slow synchro, and red-eye reduction to get rid of evil eye. It includes a self-timer so you can get in the shot when you want, and a dial to select quartz date/time/caption imprints to keep track of your memories.
Product Description The intelligent choice in advanced point-and-shoot cameras is loaded with user-friendly features the whole family will love. The Evoca 70SE is versatile and easy to use for all your precious memory-capturing photos: from intimate portraits to panoramas to picture-postcard landscapes.

fine camera August 10, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's a camera which makes good pictures, I developed 4 rolls and not a single shot missed out (I use 200 iso film). I found out that it is better not to use the zoom in low light conditions. There are some disadvantages however, the buttons on top are too small, and espacially the flashmode and the on-off button should be larger. I found out that I don't use the functions on the wheel. For me the camera would have been ideal if the functions on the wheel would be on-off and the flash modes and the functions that are on the wheel now could then go to the tiny buttons. But.. perfect pictures still recommend it.
GREAT VALUE, GREAT COMBINATION OF FEATURES November 25, 2000 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
Looking for a reasonable price camera with up to date features? This camera is great for beginners, or a camera buff that wants something practical. Small, great for your pocket on trips. Great combination camera at a price that is not too high for your loved one that wants to try new things but also may have a tendency to loose things. Zoom, infrared autofocus, panoramic switchable, landscape mode, timer and more.
