Dead battery and no rangeMarch 20, 2010 J. Ducale(Santa Barbara, CA) It was handy but very difficult to find the range and angle for the camera to fire. The battery only lasted 2 days. Very frustrating item.
Wireless Remote Control makes Long-Exposure Pictures PerfectMarch 19, 2010 Dr. Steven P. Lerner(Atlanta, GA) This convenient little device was perfect for taking long-exposure pictures with a camera mounted on a tripod. I highly recommend it. It's case slips over your camera strap for added convenience. Inexpensive and the ideal accessory!
Want to get into the picture? This is the way to do it.March 18, 2010 LowGee(Oregon) This remote works on line of sight, which has a couple of disadvantages. The sensor on the camera is on the front, so you can't easily use it to trigger photos by remote unless you're in the picture also (unless you're really sneaky). My camera (D40) has two remote modes, instant and 2-second delay so you can click and then hide the remote from the camera's view. Nice. Problem is if the camera sits too long and goes idle, it also drops back out to whatever shooting mode it was in previously (single shot, multi-shot, whatever) rather than remote trigger mode. Kind of annoying but you can change your sleep settings so you have more time to set up the shot before it times out.
Super Cool!March 16, 2010 R. Hernandez(PASADENA, TX, US) This item will allow you to be in the shot or stand away from the camera and still be able to capture the moment.
not workingMarch 15, 2010 Raymond L. Czerwonka(Scottsdale, AZ) I tried this in all three modes, nothing worked.
Would have rated "no stars" but it wouldn't let me.
