Takes a licking and... December 5, 2008 ...keeps on working? Well, that's what happened. I've had this little flash drive for over a year and used it to transport data back and forth between my home and work computers. One day I realized I'd misplaced it, and was horrified to find it on the bottom of my washing machine. I had apparently left it in a pocket and it went through the wash. I didn't bother to try the soggy drive, figuring it was ruined, so I put it aside for a week or so. However, when I later plugged it in, I was thrilled to see it seemed none the worse for wear, and neither was the data that was stored on it. That was back in July.
Great little inexpensive, solidly made storage device. I just ordered three more....
review of kingston data traveler December 2, 2008 you get what you pay for. i saved a whole ton of info on this only to get to a client's office and was able to retreive only half of my files. it is not a viable cost-effective option and i'd rather spend a lot more $$$ on a USB traveler if I know it's going to work.
Works good December 1, 2008 well, this worked great for the short time i had it, lots of space, no U3 junk, and transfer rate wasn't bad. I changed my pc case, so i badly conected the usb connectors on the mother board, plugged this jump drive in and it got fried. had to order a new one, but still a great product!!!
Great product December 1, 2008 I have been using this flash drive for a while now and never had a problem with it. It does really help. I recommend it.
Awesome value November 30, 2008 This is an awesome deal for a 2GB flash drive. The Kingston is very reliable, durable, and portable. I've never had any problems.
