 Works Great September 22, 2008
Recently went on a 2 week and I did notice that my Dell stayed charged the whole trip where as before I would have needed to charge it after several days whether I used it or not.
The product fits my Dell Axim x30 well and I am so far pleased with this purchase.

My Axim started to give trouble directly after this battery was installed, the touch screen would stop working and a soft reset would be the only way to bring it back - I reinstalled the original battery and the problem went away.
Close examination of the battery revealed that there was a bulge in the plastic housing alongside the contacts that apparently puts pressure on something inside the Axim itself and causes the touch screen to stop working.
It was also at this point that I noticed that the battery was labelled 1000mA and 2000mA as I was expecting - however looking at the item description, I don't find the capacity stated anywhere, so maybe I was confused by the number of different batteries I looked at before ordering.
In it's present form it is unusable and it will cost me more that it is worth to return it, so I guess I'll have to take a knife to it, still, at the end of the exercise I hope I to use it and once I get the expected life out of it (the original lasted almost five years) - if I get half of that from this one, I'll be happy.

Excellent product. It was shipped very fast. I got it and installed it in less than 30 seconds. It does not stick out of the back, it's the same size as the original and the same color too so you cannot tell the difference. Lasts a bit longer as well.
Well worth the money for those who don't want the odd batteries that stick out of the back.
