Product Description

Description, Main Effects & Hints
Basically, this Gradual Neutral Grey reduces the total amount of light reaching the film, but without affecting the color balance. It restores the balance between the main subject and the foreground/background.

Recommended for Both Digital and Film SLR Cameras!

Perfect for landscapes to darken the color in the sky and to reduce the contrast between sky and middle/foreground. Use it in conjunction with a polarizer to really enhance your images.

Hint - just buy this filter and don't bother with the adapter ring and holder. Then hold this against your lens and slide it to where you like it. You can do this hand-held unless your lens is huge. If you are using a tripod, even easier. By doing this, you can use this filter on any of your lenses without laying out more cash.

It is a P series so is supposed to be 84mm wide - it has no problems covering my 72mm lens diameters. There is also a lighter grey version, the ND2.
