VERY BASIC, COULD BE BETTER August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a very basic camera for chating then this is ok, I bought this recently and i thought it performed decent although i wished it could be a little sharper and give a better quality image. Be sure to manually adjust the lens to get a sharper image quality cause this is not an auto focus webcam . It took me a few trys to figure out that was the reason for a blurry picture sometimes. It performs ok in fairly low light but you must at least have some kind of light on in the room , also sometimes the low light compesation feature worked terribly and would cast a white glow on most of the image .Overall i would prefer a better cam , it lacks in the sharpness of the image quality and low light scenes , save your self some money and buy a better quality one unless you just care for the most basic of picture quality. Ultimately i I did buy i different brand (logitech) that was a little more expensive (10 dollars) and the difference was clear , sharper image better low light quality.
Good Resolution, bad colors May 27, 2008 This is good enough for me, but some times is very dificult to adjust the color, the colors depends of the source of light, when it comes from flourecent lamps the color tends to be yellow and you look a little yellow, like sick. any way y don't care munch about the color. it works.
