Product Description Transcend's 133X CF card targets serious users who demand superior performance and reliability from their memory cards, including professional photographers, reporters and photography enthusiasts. To ensure ultimate compatibility and speed, it operates in both dual-channel transfer and the Ultra DMA mode 4 standard.
Failed after first use.August 13, 2008 Card failed after just one use. I plugged the CF card into my computer and started downloading the 2 dozen pictures on it. In middle of the transfer the card stopped funtioning and locked up. Afterwards the card would not funtion in camera, computer or format. I've done this many times with my Sandisk CF card with no problems.
Great Product for your BuckAugust 12, 2008 I have bought four of these to date. Three for myself and one for my uncle. I use a D200 10.2MP camera, and let me tell you this card is a must have for those who like to travel. The massive card allows for 346 RAW images to be taken at the finest quality & roughly 1,300 JPEGS on the highest JPEG setting. If you need to travel and won't have anywhere to offload your CF for a while, I suggest buying these!
Great valueAugust 8, 2008 I bought 3 of these for my new DSLR camera. They hold so much that so far I've only used one of them. Very good value so far.
Excellent Card, Great priceJuly 27, 2008 This Transcend 8GB Flash Card has been great. I have not had any problems with it what so ever.
Speed wise: While shooting I never have problems I'm shooting with a 40D with 10 Megapixel Raws which gives between 500-600 RAW files. For jPegs the camera can not even count how many it can possibly take. Well over 1000.
The only downside is when you are doing a transfer to the PC. It can take a few minutes. But what do you expect for an almost full 8GB card. Try copying 8GB between HD's.
And the only other downside, with all these RAW files I'm having to upgrade my memory now and hard drive space. :) ;-)
Overall excellent product and price. Pick One Up!
Transcend CF cardJuly 6, 2008 Purchased for use in my Nikon D200. Card is not the fastest card in the world, but it works well. The D200 .NEF files are around 15MB each, so an 8GB card (or larger) is a must! I have been using Transcend brand cards for a few years and have never had problems. Recommended!
