Worked fine right out of the box on my Dell Latitude D630. For a better performance I would consider using a pair of the same memory (2x2gb or 2x1gb) for dual channel instead of upgrading memory from 1gb to 2.5 gb. (existing 512mb and Kingston 2gb).

I wanna buy "Kingston ValueRam 2GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Retail Packaging". But i dont know if it is compatable with my Laptop.
My laptop configuration is following:
ACER AS4710G
Intel core 2 duo (1.6GHz ,533 MHz,2MB L2 cache,1 GB DDR2).
If it is gonna work in my laptop .[...]

It was really easy to install and it's a major improvement for my eee 901! I really pleased with this product. The shipment was for free by buy.now and it was ok. It only took about a week to get me. It is fully complatible with my eee, no problems with incompatibility. I recomend this product
