A Great product But May 30, 2008

This is a great product for what I need it for, close up photography with no shadows. My only regret is that it needs 4 1.5 volt AA batteries to power it. Even though it says it will use rechargeable ones they are only 1.2 volts so you fall a full 1.2 volts short with rechargeables and that is enough to have the unit not work. But with that being said I don't know what I would do without this unit.

this is good product-works as well as the very expensive ones, with the adapter rings it can be used on more than just one lens
