awsomeDecember 2, 2008 well i didnt do much flash photography but i thought it would be nice to have so i got and i find that i use it all the time more than i ever thought i would its easy to use and has just enough options to be great for a amature but not confusing but also enough to make a pro happy
Great for the beginnerNovember 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a novice photographer, I was looking for a flash to accompany my Canon Rebel xti. This fit the bill. The cost was reasonable relative to other flashes, and gave me the simplicity I was looking for as someone still learning the 'craft' of photography. Well worth the money.
Good AccessoryNovember 24, 2008 This flash is a good addd on if you have an EOS. It is small, portable/light which is a good thing. Larger and heavier flashes may put out more light when needed, or have faster recycle times, but this flash has worked fine for me.
It recycles fast enough (I have not missed a shot that I wanted because of the flash cycling too slowly) and it is fine for indoor use.
awsome flash!!November 24, 2008 My flash went out on my cannon and I was back and forth on repairing it because it was cheaper to buy an external flash but I was concerned about the extra size of the flash but the pictures are way better now!!
Great FlashNovember 23, 2008 After much thinking I purchased the 430EX. One of my employees has one for his new Canon 12.2mp and so I took a look at some of his pictures from an even we both attended. It sold me on this flash and I have not been disappointed. Is is significantly lighter and cheaper that the 580-EX and is great for the semi professional shooter.
