Nikon battery ...a let downAugust 24, 2010 UD The battery was a let down...expected a genuine Nikon battery ....found a Sanyo substitute. Anyways the camera refused to accept the battery ....constantly get the message "Battery temperature high" and the camera shuts down on its own.
Definitely a let down.
Maybe I received a lemon....since I have come away abroad...I'm stuck with it. First time in 5 years ,I have had a disappointment while shopping on Amazon.

Though it doesn't seem to last as long, not sure why, but I've only have the occasional opportunity to use this battery as my second and replacement for my primary battery. Overall I'm very satisfied. It was able to do what I needed it to do, which is to immediately replace my primary batter in case it dies.
Great buy!July 12, 2010 Kit Bliss(NY) I purchased this battery to have as an extra since my original battery is losing it's life. So far so good with this battery, it stays charged for a long time which is great because I love taking pictures, and HATE when the battery dies right in the middle of something!
Excellent replacement battery!June 25, 2010 J. Best The battery comes as described. My old OEM Nikon battery wasn't holding a charge anymore after 3 years of use, so I needed a replacement. This battery is exactly the same one that comes in the retail box. The battery is perfect and works great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement for their Nikon Digital Camera, as you will not be disappointed. Plus the price cannot be beat. Nikon wants 3x more in terms of costs for this battery on their website. Forget it and look here. Definitely 5 stars!!!
