Still works great July 6, 2010 A. Engleson (Wisconsin, USA) I bought this about six months ago and it still works great - glad to have bought a dependable product.
Simple, solid USB drive June 14, 2010 D. Herd (Philly) This is good enough for the money. Feels well built and the cap really snaps on well so it won't get lost while you are using it, but it will still get lost as soon as you take the cap off. It would be better if the cap snapped into the other end for safe keeping.
Overall good performance, but I did have some problems with it performing perfectly while plugged into an iMac keyboard USB port. Once I put it in the main computer port, it worked great. Great gb/$ product though.
Cap won't get lost, BUT... June 12, 2010 P. Repage (NYC) ... the USB drive will. The cap attaches to your key-chain - NOT the important part, the flash-drive USB unit itself. So, as you can imagine, after a few throw-your-keys-in-your-bag uses, the flash-drive separates VERY EASILY from the cap. I lost mine within a week; thank goodness there were no important files on the unit and I have Macs with central backup or I'd be SOL.
Poor design quality. Buy a flash drive with a connection that attaches the IMPORTANT part of the device to your bag / key-chain / etc.
doesn't hold up April 23, 2010 M. P. Long (Charlotte NC) I got this to be on my keychain and within a few short months the usb connector had come loose and it isn't recognized anymore in the computer.
For the Price, what more could you ask?! April 13, 2010 Big Daddy RCG (Columbus, GA, USA) I needed a couple of new jump drives. 8gb for 15.99 was just too good of a price to let go by. There is no fancy software, or special encryption, or anything else on these drives, but if you want a good, dependable, inexpensive 8gb of portable, fast space to use, then this is for you. My CNET email for cheapskates alerted me to this, and so I bought 2 of them - one for me, and one for the spouse who usually comes to me later to take mine. They are about as vanilla as they come, but are great if what you needed was a cheap (sorry for the word, but it fits) jump drive that works good, then here it is.......
