Product Description
Building on the success of both Lego Star Wars videogames, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. Developer Traveller's Tales has brought the action to the Nintendo Wii, with motion-sensitive inputs that give you exciting new ways to control your Lego Star Wars characters, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features. The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in Lego Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Create cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala. New game features include enhanced Force powers, new power-ups, and a new Challenge Mode. Levels from the original Lego Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of Lego Star Wars II. ESRB Rated E10 for gamers aged 10 and up.

5 out of 5 stars May the Lego Force be with you   December 1, 2008
Great combo of the original trilogy and the other trilogy. lots of fun to play even after playing through the originals on Xbox.

5 out of 5 stars Value   November 30, 2008
I played the two separate games on the PS2 that make up this game (based on episodes 1-3 and 4-6 of the movies) and as the price dropped on this one and I got a Wii, I was curious on what they changed and encouraged by other reviewers' generally positive covers. I have to say, overall it's a lot more fun. For the current low price, you are getting all six episodes. The cute lego animation has improved somewhat, they particularly cleaned up episodes 1-3, the older of the two. There are a couple of segments that run a LOT smoother (example number one is anakin's Pod race - completely annoying with the original, so much more zippy with this one - the original is included as a bonus race in this set just to show you). There are a couple of extra segments added, as both bonus races and story segments. Unlockables abound, which is the true challenge of the game and will probably keep you looking for hours and hours, and again if you set the game aside for a year or two. controls are very beginner friendly and not the challenge of the game. Yes you can wave the wiimote around, but don't expect fancy Jedi moves, just basic saber waving. The ship levels are still a little annoying, but playable (and you still get a wide choice of ships)0
Overall, this is probably one of the best video games for families to have come out in the last few years, and would make a great gift.

5 out of 5 stars Well worth the money...   November 30, 2008
Though the game doesn't make great use of the Wii remote, this is still a game worth buying, especially if you are a Star Wars fan. My son is 5 and loves it. We haven't taken the game out of the Wii for two weeks now. There are so many things to unlock and there are at least 36 levels. One feature I love is, as player 2 I can drop in and out of the game as I like. No matter how many times you lose all your hearts, you never have to start all over at the beginning. Once you onlock a level, you can go back to it at any time. If you are a Star Wars fan, this really is a must have! The game is worth $40, and at $20 it is a steal.

5 out of 5 stars Two Games for One Low Price   November 29, 2008
You get two games with extra content for one really low price when you buy this. Though some of the camera angles can be annoying, the overall game is incredibly fun. Plus there are enough unlockables that you'll find a lot more replay value than the average game!

5 out of 5 stars Unbelievable fun for the whole family   November 26, 2008
I bought this game for my son after my sister told me about it. She and her husband play it together all the time, and now my son and I do too! This is a rare game where you can proceed through all the levels of the game together in two-player mode. You can play all six episodes, each episode having six chapters that humorously go along with the movies. Some of the flying chapters (levels?) are especially fun. You can also switch your character if, for instance, you need R2D2 to unlock a door and lets say you are Luke Skywalker, you can stand next to R2 and press C and then you are R2 and can unlock the door. This is not a super challenging game, although you have to figure out how to complete every level. Definitely not one of those games you need the official guide for or anything like that. Yes, you can use your Wii remote as a light saber or just press B if you are too lazy to swing your arm.
