Simply place the GPS receiver on your dashboard and receive accurate GPS data on your Bluetooth-enabled device to help you navigate to your destination. The high capacity lithium polymer battery will power the Bluetooth receiver for up to 7 hours between charges. A blue LED indicator flashes when searching for a Bluetooth connection and glows solid when connection is established. Use any NMEA compatible software, or for the best navigation experience, use Pharos' Ostia navigation and routing software to navigate to your destination with detailed street level maps and turn-by-turn, voice prompted directions.

4 out of 5 stars Good Addition to Treo 650   November 10, 2008
This was purchased as a gift for my son, who uses it with a Treo 650. He is very pleased with the product. He reports that its setup was not as easy as it might have been, but it has performed flawlessly for him here in the U.S.A.

5 out of 5 stars Totally Happy With This Device   October 28, 2008
Use this with my Dell Axim X51v PDA, and Ostia from Pharos. It works great, only sometimes I have difficulty connecting to it, but I think that is the fault of the Axim. The unit is small and fits easily in my pocket so I can travel with it. The battery life is great, over all I am very happy with it. I called Pharos for tech support when I first got it due to the connection problem and they were great they helped me out and it has worked fine.

4 out of 5 stars A good alternative to $300.00 units   August 13, 2008
I have a smartphone that runs GPS software, but does not have a built in GPS unit. Rather than spend $300.00+ on a stand alone unit, I bought the PT120 to link to my phone and it works like a charm!

4 out of 5 stars Works... but...   March 18, 2008
Got this product as described, I got it to replace a GPS that I was using in Delorme's Street Atlas. Using Vista, I was able to find the device, but the mapping software had constant issues with connecting to it and using it. I did end up using GPS Gate, and this resolved the issues that I was having. I also got the CF adapter, which is great for using the GPS in several applications.

That being said, the device is nice. Once I got around the technological issues, I have been able to use this device without any issues. One odd thing, if you leave the device on and do not connect to use it, after a while the bluetooth goes into a stand by mode where you can not connect to it. You just need to turn it off and back on, and since it is a "warm" start, the GPS fix is almost instantaneous.

I have not really got a chance to try out the battery life yet.

I am using this GPS with my HTC-Mogul, and Live Search from Microsoft works great, only sometimes I have difficulty connecting to it, but I think that is mostly the fault of the phone, the unit is small and fits easily in my pocket so I can travel with it. The battery life is great, over all I am very happy with it. I called Pharos for tech support when I first got it due to the connection problem and they were great they helped me out and it has worked fine.
