| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description SODIMMs get their name because they are smaller and thinner than regular DIMMs. A Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (SODIMM) consists of a number of memory components that are attached to a printed circuit board. The gold pins on the bottom of the SODIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR EEE PC December 5, 2008 If you have a asus eee pc 900ha, I would purchase this. Extremely easy to install. Great upgrade for the price ($30 AMAZON)
Great product, great price! November 20, 2008 The chip arrived promptly. Removing the old one and replacing it was a breeze. The price was perfect for an old machine that I wanted for my kid's homework. I would recommend it for anyone with an old PC to run faster. Thanks.
Working on a HP Pavilion dv6736nr November 13, 2008 Excellent value for money, bought two for my HP dv6736nr.
It seams that this memory matches the following spec: 667MHz, 200-pin, PC2-5300, SDRAM Small Outline Dual In-Line Memory Module (SODIMM).
Did you check your RAM memory modules specifications already? Does it match the above specs? keep in mind that it will only work on a laptop, but NOT just any laptop.
It may be that you have to buy a pair, instead of a single module depending on what you want, and what you need.
Again: check your specs!
High quality - great price November 10, 2008 Certain items in technology are basically commodities. As long as you are educated enough in the area to know what specifically to buy (for instance, a memory chip, what speed, what type for your computer, etc) then look for a recognized brand first, then simply compare price. For these types of items, price becomes the determining factor. In this case, Crucial is a major brand, highly reviewed, the type, DDR2 SODIMM, speed, 667MHZ, and the size 2GB, were just what I needed. And .. it was the least expensive within the top brands. Ergo, end of decision process. Arrived fast, popped it in, worked immediately in my Dell Inspiron 1525. End result: I'm a happy camper. Bottomline, don't think you'll get a better product in commodities just by paying more. You'll just pay more.
installing 2GB RAM on eee pc, (love crucial) October 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
...if putting in 2GB module in eee pc 1000 you need to restart computer after installing the RAM and keep pressing F2. then press F10 to accept the settings in the BIOS. now your eee pc will recognize the 2 GB module yeah,.. plug and play... right peace, scott
