Wonderful! Slightly bulky though.August 25, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for my iPaq 3650. It works great but it adds a lot of bulk. As most of iPaq owners know, the iPaq is slitly bulky by itself, so when you add the CF Exp. Pack it's even bulkier. It is a great acessory, it has lots of advanteages (especially if you use your iPaq as an MP3 player a lot) It makes life easier! The only con is the bulkyness.
Problem is not with the productJune 7, 2002 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
My problem with this product is not the functioning of it, but the fact that cases made for the IPAQ, won't support use of this product!!!
It works exactly as designed with no problems whatsoever. I can even plug in the sleeve "hot" and it works like plug and play. But if you need a case, you'll have to use an aftermarket "large" PDA case, or a small digital camera case.
A must have for all ipaq usersMay 8, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although it increases the weight of the unit, it is well worth this extra storage space given.
Not bad, but not great eitherApril 17, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
For 40 bucks, you can't really go wrong, or can you.....
Listen, if you are using this just for the purpose of backing up files, go with it, but if you are going to be using this very often i recommend the pc card one. Of course it's a little bigger, but if you are going to add to the size anyway for the compact flash card slot, you might as well go for the pc card. The battery helps a lot and I can usually get 3 to 4 hours of use out of my PDA. 8-9 hours for mp3's. This is a good product, but by no means the best.
Great ExpansionApril 8, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My iPAQ came with this expansion pack and it made all the difference in the world to just the organizer it is by itself. I have a 256 Compact Flash Card where I have my MP3's and of course all my documents and photographs, I also have a modem to check my e-mail anywhere, and a Network card to connect at the office. It is kind of bulky, but for me, it is as functional as a PC without having to carry the Laptop.
