Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description SanDisk's 256 MB Secure Digital (SD) memory card includes a high-performance, 9-pin SD interface that enables data transfer rates of up to 10 MBps. Its proprietary interface commands facilitate the secure exchange of content between host devices, such as PCs and music servers, and the card itself. The security level provided in the SD memory card has been designed to comply with current and projected SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative) portable device requirements.
Product Description The SD memory card was designed by the consortium of Matsushita Electric (Panasonic), SanDisk and Toshiba and is now supported by the SD Association, an open industry standard organization comprised of over 500 members. The SD card is ideally suited to meet the demands of small portable devices that need high capacity flash memory in a very small size.

SAN DISK December 30, 2007 The Sn Disk was of no benefit to me - I tossed them. I thought I was buying SD (Smart Disk). It is shaped identically but won't go into my camera. I would assume the manufactor planned to sell a lot of SanDisk in error based on the similar name and shape. Stung one!
lots of space was slow August 30, 2007 I bought this card for my KODAK C350 5 MP camera. This card holds over 200 pics on highest resolution. The serious flaw in this card is that it is extremely slow to save a picture to the card so you can only take about 3 pictures per minute. I personaly don't like this card very mch i strongly reconmend a sandisk memory card as sandisk is possibly the best memory card producer in the world right now. I intend to perchase a sandisk extremeIII 1GB memory card insted
Great product July 5, 2007 SanDisk's products are very reliable and easy to use. This is the only SD manufacturer that I will purchase from going forward.
I can't rate this product since ADORAMA CAMERA never sent it April 21, 2007 I ordered this card from Adorama Camera and I paid for the card but somehow I never received the card. They said they were not able to ship it and when I called to have them re ship it because there was nothing the matter with my address I could not get anyone to call me back. Then they refunded the price of the card to my CC but I still had to pay the shipping charge and when I called about that it was after their business hours so I left a message but never received a call back. The card probably would have worked fine if Adorama Camera would have shipped it to me.
Great for anything February 6, 2007 I use the SD memory card for transporting data between my computers through my camera. I just save it to the SD card and then stick it in my camera and take it with me. So not only do I have my pictures with me, I also have whatever I wanted too. My Laptop has a slot for it and i like it better than USB drives because its so small. Besides I dont need a big one for the things i use it for. The size is just right, But if your unsure then go with the bigger verison. Like the 512MB or 1GB.
