I just love my Kindle. I am a very patient person in a store line, doctor's office or car repair shop as long as I have something to read. Hard cover books are very bulky to carry around. The Kindle is great because no matter how thick the book is, the Kindle is always the same size and fits perfectly in my purse.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I've started saving my money in case you come out with one in color.

I bought this for my son for Christmas but when he was home for Thanksgiving from college and was bored, I gave it to him. He absolutely loves it! He immediately downloaded books and I heard about the use of the Kindle and how great it was. He is a senior at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and will be Commissioned as an Officer in the Navy in May. He is a huge reader and instead of lugging books around on the ship he will be able to use his Kindle! This was a great gift that I learned about on Oprah! Another reason to love Oprah! Thanks so much for showcasing an item that I probably would never have thought of!

I absolutely love my new Kindle. I wanted one for some time and when Oprah found out about it and I was able to get a $50 discount I couldn't pass up the offer. I would recommend this to any avid readers out there. I love the ease of turning the pages and the fact that is not too heavy or bulky. The word lookup and bookmark features work great and are great resources to have at your fingertips! I also like the quick online access to get to the kindle store. I made my first purchase within minutes--it was quick and easy and there were no extra charges to be online and I had my book without the wait. Fantastic product!

I love my Kindle. It goes everywhere with me. Books are downloaded almost instantly wherever I am. It fits in my purse easily. The screen is easy to see, never distorted or any reflections. It holds a charge for a long time and takes a charge fast. I can read more than one book at a time.
