Just what I wanted & needed in a camera September 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this camera, and I will keep this short. I love to travel, do photography, and I am a seller on Amazon & eBay. This camera works on so many levels, and is perfect for what I do. Its multiple shooting features offer something for everyone, and there are so many ways to alter an image that you take. Highly recommended to anyone!
Love it September 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had my camera for a while now. I get compliments on my pictures all the time. And I keep discovering things this camera can do.. (I hate reading operating manuals..) It's ease to use. The zoom is awesome. I highly recommend this camera!
best camera for a great price September 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I was shopping for cameras, of course, i wanted the best, easiest to use, for the best price. This camera takes excellent photos, and has many great photo options, including selective color! The digital Macro setting for taking close up shots (ex. flowers, bugs, jewelry) is the best ive ever seen on any point and shoot camera.
Great for college kids, or someone just needing a nice point and shoot camera. Highly recommended!
cute size, bad canon quality September 3, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'd like to say this was a happy camera to be with, but after a few months it petered out with the dreaded 'lens error'. I decided to write a review because i think there has got to be a bug in the price, i bought mine dec 07 and it was 170 bucks brand new. 300+ for this hunk of crap? I have a 450 that has withstood snow, sand, dirt, and rocks for several years with barely a mark. This one wasn't even close to a beach when the lens got stuck and wouldn't retract.. Canon needs to install a force sensing circuit on their bellows claw so that the motor doesn't jump the track when its got a lens obstruction. It wasn't the case on mine, but the it still would help.
Great for concert video September 1, 2008 I have snuck this little wonder and other Canon SD cameras into the following concerts and have captured wonderful quality video: Rush, Heaven And Hell, Testament, Slayer, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Iron Maiden and Megadeth. Canon Powershot SD cameras are capable of taking excellent video with clear (although mono) sound. When burned onto dvd and viewed on a tv, the colors simply pop off the screen. For those of you interested in capturing your own concert memories, always pack a Canon.
