Good productNovember 30, 2008 We purchased the Garmin as a gift and for ourselves. We have used ours twice for trips. Connects quickly to the satellite and easy to use. Once it did not give us a good instruction...told us to get in left lane and there was a right exit so we missed it. Otherwise it has been accurate.
We call her Girdy.November 30, 2008 This is the first talking GPS product I have used. It works great! Have only used it around town, but Girdy usually takes me by the most direct route right to the door of the location. Easy to operate.
The only problem we have had is that Girdy interupts my wife and she doesn't like that.
Looking forward to trying it out on a long cross-country trip.
NO MEMORY!!!November 29, 2008 I love this GPS but when i got it I tried to load songs on it and the memory was full. It would only hold about 12 songs. I had a nuvi 350 before this one and it held about 75 songs and still had room for more. So,to solve the problem i went and bought a 2gig memory card about $15.00. and now i can hold about 500 songs. All in All it was a good purchase. i plan on getting the nuvi 750 next.

I was surprised at the ease and accuracy of the Garmin 650. The screen display is bright and can be easyly seen under all conditions. The voice commands make this unit one of the best companions to travel with.
Good buy...November 29, 2008 I have always been against getting a GPS but this one is a good buy. Price-wise and product-wise. I use it whenever we travel out of state. There are confusions in some states like New Jersey and Maryland where routes are constantly changing. Otherwise it works fine. Thanks again Amazon for the great price, prompt delivery.
